Twas The Week Before Something

Twas the week before something is a fresh blog post written by our very own
exclusive buyer’s agent, Josh Amolsch.
Enjoy. — JaCi Wallace
Something is Stirring.
‘Twas the week before something, and all through the land
Shoppers were shopping, with mice in their hand
But registers clanged for those who were about
Yet wrinkly eyes were all they could tout
For under the garment that covered their tongue
Were smiles of hope, from both old and young

Real Estate on Thanksgiving 2020 in Quarantine
Real Estate on Thanksgiving 2020 in quarantine, what a year it has been. As we near the last month of the year, it is EZ to be thankful. Real Estate has been very busy with historic low-interest rates. The buyers are still lining up to buy homes. Some sellers are moving out of state, others moving into larger homes to share with their families. Covid19 has created many college students moving back home, so many households need more space. An at-home office or home-schooling area and an extra bedroom or two are a huge plus for a listing right now.

Valentine’s Day In Sacramento Real Estate, $weet For $ellers Or Buyers?

Valentine’s Day in Sacramento real estate, $weet for $ellers or buyers? February is a month when we think about Valentine’s Day. Typically, we see sellers preparing to put homes on the upcoming spring market. Buyers are generally slower to start a re-entry in the home buying search. After reading the January 2020 Sacramento Housing Report, the buyers are out home shopping in full force. They are rapidly buying up the available inventory of homes. Many sellers are receiving multiple offers, and selling very close to list price or over list price, across the board.

What do Groundhog Day and Superbowl share in 2020?

What do Groundhog Day and Superbowl share in 2020? Groundhog Day this year also coincides with the Superbowl. This is only the second time Super Bowl Sunday has fallen on Feb. 2. The last time was in 2014. On that day, Phil saw his shadow, and the Seattle Seahawks routed the Denver Broncos, 43-8. Phil’s prediction for six more weeks of winter that year was spot on, as brutally cold and snowy weather lasted well into March.
— The Washington Post
Groundhog day always reminds me of Punxsutawney Phil and the movie with Bill Murray. Waking up with the same thing happening to you each day might sound fun at first as you could live out any scenario and never hurt yourself permanently. The limitation is, of course, how do you build longstanding relationships or make a difference in your world?

Is Martin Luther King Day a Realtor Holiday?

Is Martin Luther King Day a Realtor holiday? This day began like any other day, hustle and bustle. We have a new Carmichael listing coming soon and we were busy getting the agreement signed. There are some legal overlays, so an attorney had to review. Both sellers have to sign it. We should be in MLS on market status by Friday. What a beautiful property, and be sure to read that post in a Coming Soon listing blog promotion. We should have photos next week.
Also, we received an offer on our Oak Park listing on 48th today, so we responded right away with a seller counter offer. Our escrows needed updating as they are in process. With appraisals due next week, we have our handyman getting them ready with smoke detectors and CO2 detectors.
